The Mississippi Council on Economic Education (MCEE) aims to enhance economic and financial literacy throughout Mississippi by equipping K-12 educators with the necessary resources and training. This empowers students to build a more prosperous future for both themselves and the state. Our annual Forum on American Enterprise helps us raise funds to support this mission statewide.
MCEE proudly celebrated Economic Education Month with an inspiring event on Friday, October 18, 2024. The highlight of the program was a keynote address delivered by Dr. Raphael Bostic, President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.
The event brought together educators, policymakers, and community leaders to explore the importance of economic education in empowering individuals and strengthening communities.
Thank you to all who attended and supported this celebration of economic literacy. Your engagement and enthusiasm continue to drive our mission forward!
